The Yamphu dictionary provided by R. Rutgers, published in Rutgers 2000. Here, as also in other Leiden databases, we preserve the original system of transcription, different from the one usually employed on our site. The differences are the following: vowel length is marked by :; the resonant j is denoted as y; the affricates c, ʒ, č, ǯ - as ts, dz, c, j respectively; the nasal ŋ - as N.
